The appeal process varies from school to school but, generally, all schools will require that you appeal in writing, either by traditional mail (aka “snail mail”) or email. Appeals may not be done by phone. You should never appeal your financial aid award just to seek more money.

Is a D passing CUNY? ›

Lower passing grades such as C-, D+, D and D- will automatically convert to the grade of CR (credit) and the F, WD, WU, W, WN administrative grades will convert to NC (No Credit). CR will carry academic credit and NC will not. College Now grades will not impact the student's GPA.
