    2D Design V2 Student Licence (6) 2D Design V2 Student Licence

I'm a A-Level student studying Design Graphics, I was given a Student copy of 2D Design V2 to install and use at home. I installed the student licence I was given with the copy of 2D Design and began working, an hour later I went to save what I'd done and to my dismay the save buttons/options in file were grayed out.
I googled my problem and came across a video explaining how to licence a student copy and tried what It suggested, this still didn't work.

I understand this forum isn't exactly for students to ask questions, but I have a deadline looming and it's vital I can get this work done now rather than tomorrow when I go back to school.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or information that will help.
    Thanks for your time.

The Save option should be within the Student license or at least it is in our copy. I only believe the print option to be unavailable within the student release.

Well thats what I mean, the save option should work on the student licence I have. Though in this case it doesn't seem to work. I've tried installing the licence multiple times with no luck.

When you say "installing" the licence, do you mean you've copied the licence file (which will probably be separately stored somewhere) to the root of your 2D Design folder?

I say install because when I boot 2D Design it asks me to install the licence. But to answer your question, the licence file is in my 2D Design root folder.

Sounds like the CD may not have been burnt properly or they have given you the wrong licence file

Search the CD for a "2ddes.lic" file and ensure this replaces the one in "C:\Program Files\TechSoft Design Tools\2D Design V2"

When Exploring the CD there appeared to be two .LIC files. Both looked the same, first one I test appeared to be the same as the one I was previously using but the second one worked.
